UP: 3 killed, 20 injured in collision of 2 buses going to Delhi, accident happened on Greater Noida Expressway

A major road accident took place on Sunday morning in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. A bus going from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh to Delhi and another bus from Pratapgarh to Anand Vihar in Uttar Pradesh collided with each other. Three people have died in this accident.

According to the information, the accident happened on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway connecting Pari Chowk to Noida. It is said that a bus (MP 04 PA 3243) was going to Delhi from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Another bus (UP17 AT 6460) was going from Pratapgarh to Anand Vihar.

Both these long distance buses collided with each other in front of Sector 157 on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Reports say that the collision of both the buses was so severe that the vehicle got blown up. The incident took place at around 5 in the morning. After the collision of two buses, there was hue and cry on the spot.

A passer-by informed the police about the incident. After receiving the information, the Greater Noida Police immediately rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. The police team reached the spot, took out the people trapped in both the buses and took them to the hospital for treatment. Three people injured in the bus accident died during treatment in the hospital. Treatment of other injured is going on.

The reports say that 20 people have been injured in this accident, who have been admitted to different hospitals for treatment. Three people injured in the bus accident on the Greater Noida Expressway have been admitted to the Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida for treatment. The treatment of other 10 injured is going on in the district hospital.

The Greater Noida Police have taken both the buses that were involved in the accident to the side of the road with the help of a crane. According to the police, the traffic is being operated smoothly. Greater Noida Police have registered a case and started investigation. According to the police, legal action is being taken. No official information regarding the cause of the accident has been revealed yet.
