Aam Aadmi Party MLA shares CCTV footage of Delhi’s SHO slapping a girl | Watch
The Aam Aadmi Party’s Burari MLA has uploaded CCTV footage from the Jahangirpuri police station area where the Station House Officer was seen unleashing a brutal assault on a woman. The Aam Aadmi Party MLA, Sanjeev Jha, has questioned the police on the authorities behavior with the women.
The AAP MLA has also sought actions against the SHO for his actions.
In the video, an envoy of police can be seen walking out of a residential area along with some people. Along with the policemen and some civilians, a girl is also seen walking alongside them. The SHO, after being agitated with the girl in following them, can be seen resorting to

The SHO of police can be seen repeatedly slapping a woman as she is taken aback by the actions of the police. Another policeman can also be seen shoving the police away from the crowd and hitting her.

Another video has come to light from the same incident where the woman along with other people can be seen holding the policeman by his collar. The civilians can be seen hindering the police from carrying out their investigation.

After the video went viral, various users came forward to add their take on the incident as one user wrote and said that the country will only change when the uniformed police will change. The user also questioned what is pleasurable in hurting the people.
The user also alleged that the Delhi Police tries to scare the public and added that while the country talks about seeking change in other places, why is the country not taking cognizance in this matter.
Another user also agreed with the Tweet of AAP MLA as the user said that he is right in saying that female officers should be present to take actions against female accused, however, the user highlighted that the male accused is also slapped by the female police. The user further questioned how this is equality.
