Allahabad High Court staff suspended for bribery, had put Paytm scanner code on clothes to receive bribe
A story has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Allahabad High Court where a staff of the court had put a Paytm scanner code on his clothes to receive bribes and tips from the lawyers. The incident has left Twitter divided as many came forward to remark on the incident. The incident Transpired on Thursday.
An Allahabad High Court staff was recently suspended from his duties after he was captured having attached a Paytm scanner just above his belt to receive bribes and tips from the lawyers of the court. The accused has been identified as Rajendra Kumar and was a sweeper in the court premises.

According to reports, the Allahabad High Court Chief Justice ordered actions against the employee and subsequently after, he was suspended after the order was passed by Registrar General.
Twitter reaction
After the video went viral, many users came forward to remark on the incident as one user came forward and wrote that the staff person shouldn’t have been suspended as they further added that he was just representing the truth of the system, implying that the whole system was corrupt and the staff worker’s corruption was just a minuscule of issue of the Allahabad High Court.
Another user added to the conversation as they wrote and wittily remarked that this is the most lucrative use of digital India, implying that the government pushing for Indians to turn to digitization is finally getting exactly what they asked for.
