Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal slams PM Modi over Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain arrests, says will pray for the country on Holi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the arrests of two of his top ministers, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain. He said he is worried about the state of affairs in the country, hence would pray for the country during Holi celebrations on March 8.
Attacking PM Modi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo said everyone knows that government schools and hospitals are in a bad shape. But two people, former Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia and former AAP Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who improved these government schools and hospitals are in jail.
He further said a country where the Prime Minister jails people who provide good education and good health facilities to people and supports those who rob the country, is worrying. He said he will meditate and pray for the country tomorrow.
He said, After 75 years of Independence, someone changed the face of government schools so that poor kids could get the same education as rich kids and that person was Manish Sisodia, and in the same way another person changed the condition of government hospitals, gave people the model of mohalla clinics so that the poor can get treatment. And another person looted the hard-earned money of people. PM Modi has put Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain in jail on false cases and embraced the one looting the country, he stated.

Kejriwal further said that he is not worried about Manish Sisodia or Satyendar Jain — they can die for the country, but he is worried about the country. In this country, the Prime Minister has put those working for the country in jail.
The national convener of AAP also urged people to pray for the country after celebrating Holi. He said he has decided to do puja the entire day on Holi and also urged others to do as well if they are worried about the country.
After the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) interrogation, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning the AAP leader Manish Sisodia inside the jail in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam.
Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia quit the Delhi cabinet last week after Jain was arrested in May last year in a corruption case and Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26.
