BharatPe CEO takes a jibe at Ashneer Grover, says can't pay salaries as Grover stole it all; Grover hits back

The tussle between the BharatPe management and Ashneer Grover is not going to rest anytime soon. BharatPe CEO took a jibe at Grover and said that he cannot pay salaries to his employees as Grover stole it all.

It all started when a former BharatPe employee, Karan Darki took to LinkedIn and shared his plight. He requested the company to pay his salary for the month of March. The employee also alleged that BharatPe terminated the employment of all the old administrative staff and has not credited their salaries yet.

Ashneer Grover commented on the post and asked the company to look into the matter. He also tagged the CEO, Suhail Sameer, and Hersimran Kaur who is the new head of financial control.

Grover’s sister Aashima Grover also commented on the post and called it a shameless bunch following which Suhail Sameer wrote that very little was left to pay salaries as Grover stole all the money.

On Thursday, Ashneer Grover hit back at the chairman Rajnish Kumar and the CEO Suhail Sameer. He took to social media and wrote that he just heard BharatPe closed its first quarter of degrowth and maximum cash burn under the able leadership of Rajnish Kumar and Suhail Sameer. He further wrote that snatching keys and running a company are two different skills. He also wrote that ab nani yaad aayegi which means now they will regret their decision.

Last month, Ashneer Grover resigned as the managing director of the Fintech platform. The decision came after BharatPe released a statement saying that they have removed the co-founder and managing director from all positions in the company. The management of BharatPe had accused Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover of using the company’s fund for personal expenses.
