A story has come to light from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore where a Muslim man was allegedly thrashed by Bajrang Dall members. According to reports, the Muslim man was assaulted by the members of the Bajrang Dall for using a fake identity to book a hotel to spend his time with a Hindu girl. The reports suggest that the Muslim man was identified as Asif Sheikh and had posed as Vikas to carry out the alleged deed.
In the video, a man can be seen getting grilled by a mob of people as they continue to ask questions about his name, residence, and whatnot. The man can be seen sitting on a chair as he continues to be in a constant state of fear. The mob can be heard saying that we should take down his father’s phone number and ring him.
The man can also be seen asking the mob to not disclose the name of the girl in the video as the cameraman continues to demand and ask the man to not cover his face. The mob can be seen unleashing their assault on the man as they get annoyed by the man covering his face in front of a camera. It is speculated that the video is from some hotel in Indore.
In a press statement made by the Bajrang Dal leader of Indore, Tannu Sharma, alleged and pushed forward the angle of Love Jihad. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Vyas informed the press that the accused man has been taken into police custody.
Another report of a similar nature came to light recently from a Garba event in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad where the Bajrang Dall thrashed four Muslim men who took part in the Garba event. The video of the same went viral as many users came forward to condemn the incident. The incident transpired on Ahemdabad’s Sindhu Bhavan road, reports suggested.
