Punjab: Batala MLA Amansher Singh Kalsi's 3 relatives die in car accident, two others injured

Three relatives of Batala MLA Amansher Singh Kalsi died and two others were injured in a car accident near the Amritsar-Jalandhar bypass. The accident occurred on Saturday late night. The injured have been admitted to the nearby hospital in Amritsar for treatment.

According to the reports, Shery Kalsi’s brother Amritpal Singh Kalsi was coming towards the city from the Amritsar-Jalandhar road bypass in an I-20 car along with his companions. When the car reached close to BH Resort, its tyre burst. The things escalated, and the car hit the bridge. As a result of the accident, all the five people in the car suffered injured.

Soon the injured were rushed to the hospital. On reaching the hospital, the doctors declared Shery Kalsi’s friends Updesh Kumar, Sunil Sodhi, and Shery Kalsi’s nephew Gurleen dead. The other two are critically injured and are under treatment.
