A video clip from the Bharat Jodo Yatra has emerged where a man can be seen rushing the Wayanad MP and hugging him. The man wearing a hoodie can be trying to cling on to the former Congress MP, however, the security team can be seen acting swiftly and removing him.

The incident of the break in Rahul Gandhi’s security comes in the wake of the party raising alarm over the Congress MP’s security during the course of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress party has sought more security aid for his cover from the Centre. Congress former chief Rahul Gandhi currently has been granted with Z+ category security.
The Centre had also replied to the Congress in which they had cited that the Wayanad MP himself had breached his own security over 100 times since 2020.
Rahul Gandhi security concern in Kashmir
Aside from security concerns for the Congress MP in Punjab, the security agencies have also cautioned the party and the leader for his travel plans to Kashmir. He has been instructed to not walk specific stretches when the Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Kashmir. According to the schedule, the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Srinagar on January 27.
According to reports, the officials have drawn out a comprehensive plan to secure him and the security detail team has also advised the Wayanad MP to not travel through certain stretches on foot and instead use a car.
The security team is also reviewing the schedule of night halts and the schedules are being drawn out accordingly, suggest reports.
Rahul Gandhi is expected to hoist the national flag in Banihal on January 25th as well and then travel to Srinagar a day after republic day.
