Fearless women cops fight off 3 bank robbers in Bihar | WATCH

Two brave women constables foiled a bank robbery as they fought off three armed robbers in Hajipur district of Bihar on Wednesday.

CCTV footage showed that the two women cops, Juhi Kumari and Shanti Kumar, who were on guard duty at the entrance of the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank in Senduari Chowk of Sadar police station, when three men tried to forcibly enter the bank.

The security video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The suspects were asked to show their documents when one of them pulled a gun on the cops. But the alert and fearless policewomen challenged the trio, a struggle ensued, and eventually the robbers decided to run away.

The criminals tried to snatch the rifles of the policewomen but they succeeded in fighting them off. Juhi Kumari, who was injured in the scuffle, tried to shoot the fleeing thieves and managed to foil the attempted robbery.

Shanti said the men tried to overpower them and snatch their guns but the women had decided that they won’t let them rob the bank on their watch, no matter the cost.

Police has registered a case and a manhunt is on to nab the suspects.

A senior police officer said the incident happened at around 11 am in Senduari.

“The women constables showed exceptional courage and managed to scare them off. There was no firing. The constables will be rewarded,” he said.
