According to the reports, a woman has accused Bhangdiya of beating her husband. She said Bhangdiya and a group of at least 15 to 20 people reached her house late Saturday night and started abusing her husband. They dragged her husband from the house and thrashed him, she added.

The complainant in an FIR also alleged that Bhangdiya and his supporters molested and beat her when she tried to save her husband. She also alleged that her family members, including two children, were beaten up along with a Congress worker from Chimur tehsil who is the brother of the victim’s husband, the official said.
