SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR is one of the highly-anticipated films. Starring Ram Charan, NT Rama Rao Jr, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in titular roles, the film is hitting the headlines ever since its announcement. The stars of the film are busy promoting RRR and touring major cities of India including Delhi, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Kolkata, and Varanasi.

The fans are eagerly waiting for RRR to hit the silver screen, however, a section of Kannada fans have shown their disappointment with the makers of the film and are urging Karanataka’s audience to boycott the film. Why boycott RRR in Karnataka is trending?

For those who don’t know, SS Rajamouli’s film was to be released in five languages Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. However, the early reports said that RRR is not released in the Kannada language in Karnataka making the Kannada audience upset.

One of the users wrote that it’s high time to trend boycott RRR in Karnataka and also urged the makers to stop dumping Telugu on Kannadigas. Another user wrote that not releasing RRR in Kannada is a great insult for Kannadigas and this is the time to ban RRR movies.

Meanwhile, a film theatre in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam has put up barbed wires and fences ahead of the release of the film in the state. As per reports, the precautionary measure was taken after the screen got damaged earlier due to a huge crowd during Allu Arjun’s Pushpa screening.

RRR is a period drama based on two legendary revolutionaries who return home to rebel against British colonialists in the 1920s. The film is said to be bigger than Prabhas’ Baahubali.
