Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer to release on OTT soon, check date and time here

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was one of the most-talked-about Bollywood films this year. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, who is also the best friend of the lead, the multi-verse film also saw Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in important roles.

It had its theatrical release in four Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada on September 9.

Brahmastra proved to be a band-aid on a wound as it brought some relief from consecutive unsuccessful films in Bollywood. The film also triggered multiple debates on social media over its VFX and Alia Bhatt’s monotonous role.

However, the Ayan Mukerji directorial collected more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. After its successful stint on the silver screen, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is all set to premiere on the OTT platform, Disney+Hostar.

The makers have decided to release the superhero-fantasy film on the giant streaming platform on the occasion of Diwali, reports said. The film can, most probably, stream on October 23 on Disney+Hotstar.

Brahmastra was the highest-grossing Bollywood film this year as Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, failed to impress the audience at the box office. Though the film was trolled for a myriad of reasons including the overuse of VFX, badly written script, and dialogues, the film was also appreciated for its Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo and Mouni Roy’s acting prowess.

And now, fans can enjoy the film on Disney+Hotstar.

Disney+Hotstar plans

There are two plans, Super and Premium, available on the OTT platform. Users can access ads-free films and series with support for 4K playback and Dolby 5.1 audio. The one-year Premium plan is priced at Rs 1,499.

The Super plan for 1 year is priced at Rs 899 which will allow the users to stream content on up to two devices with support for Full HD resolution and Dolby 5.1.
