Bus mows down elderly man in Mumbai, video viral | Watch
A spine-chilling video has come to light from Mumbai’s Powai where a bus mowed down an elderly man who was walking in front of the bus, in order to cross the jammed road. The incident was reported to be caught on the CCTV which was installed outside Everest Heights Building in Chandivali.
In the video, a bus can be seen coming from one direction on a busy road outside of the society building, where an elderly man wearing a Kurta Pajama can also be seen being caught under the bus as the driver, drives on aloof from the elderly man being in front of the bus.
According to reports, the man escaped unhurt even after being run over by the bus.
The bus can be seen jolting up as it mows down the elderly man, however, the bus driver after realizing pushed the brakes and stopped the bus. The video also shows the elderly man coming out of the accident alive and unhurt as he can be seen walking toward the bus driver.
After the video went viral, many users came forward and clarified that it wasn’t the driver’s fault as it was a blind spot where the man was standing. One user came forward and suggested that every bus needs to have a mirror that can also show the blind spot for the driver to notice and drive accordingly.
Another user added to the conversation and wrote that and stated that the driver is not at fault as it was a blind spot and further added that you can’t cross the road like how the elderly man was seen doing.

Another user also added that the car driver who was driving on the opposite side of the road had a clear view of the man being there and should have alerted the bus driver in some way.
