The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the CBSE Board exam 2023 for Classes 10 and 12 from tomorrow. The board is conducting the annual board examinations for the first after the Covid-19 pandemic.

The board has already released the admit cards for the students on its official website. Candidates are required to carry CBSE admit card along with a photo ID to the exam hall as the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without it.

CBSE Board Exam: Timings

The CBSE Board exam will start at 10.30 am for both Classes 10 and 12. Based on the subject, some exams will be conducted for 2.5 hours while some for 3 hours.

CBSE Board Exam; Important Guidelines

  • The official reporting time is 9:30 am. Candidates must ensure to arrive at the examination hall prior to the reporting time. The entry will be closed at 10 am sharp. No candidate would be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10 am.
  • Candidates appearing in the CBSE Board Exams 2023 must carry their admit cards on the day of the examination. Also, the admit card must be duly signed.
  • Candidates must carry any of their identity proofs like a school identity card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, or any other valid document with them on the day of the examination.
  • Although the duration of CBSE Board Exams 2023 is 2.5 to 3 hours, candidates with special needs would be given extra time depending upon their requirements.
  • Candidates must carry all the required items like a pen, pencil, etc. with them. The concerned authorities will only provide a question paper and answer booklet.
  • Students should not carry mobile phones with GPS, communication devices, electronic items, or barred items to the examination centre.

CBSE Board Exams: Last-minute Tips

  • Refer to your handwritten notes instead of revising from the textbook.
  • Do not learn new topics or concepts. Instead, focus on what you already know and practice the same to improve your performance.
  • Solve last years question papers and sample papers especially the ones on the official site of CBSE. Practice additional questions.
  • Write while practicing to improve speed and handwriting. Also, it is a common notion that writing helps you memorize better.
  • Take enough breaks. Get quality sleep and eat well.
