The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the date sheet for the Class 10th and Class 12th practical exams for the 2022-23 academic session on Tuesday. The practical exams will start from January 2, 2023, to February 14, 2023.

CBSE in an official notification urged the schools to ensure the timely completion of practical examinations of all students. It further asked the schools to start uploading marks or internal grades of practical exams, projects, and internal assessments from January 2, 2023. The deadline for uploading student grades is February 14.

The board also asked the schools to inform all the students about the practical examination and project assessment during the given schedule.

The board also stated that the Practical Examination/Project Assessment of a student who may be absent on the day of examination due to any reason shall also be rescheduled within decided dates. However, no request for special permission beyond the schedule shall be entertained by the Board.

In another statement, the board said that if a student misses the practical exam for the session 2022–2023, they will be marked absent in the online system. However, if the practical exam is to be held on a different day due to the student’s absence on the exam day for any reason, they will be marked as Re-scheduled rather than absent. The school will be allowed to re-conduct the practical exam of students marked as Re- scheduled during the above schedule only.
