Anybody who stood against this idea of the onset of dictatorship was viciously attacked, jailed, arrested and beaten up.
Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh slammed the Modi government for a GST hike on the necessary public goods. He said that people were unemployed and their income was decreasing. But the Modi government was imposing GST on those goods too, which were necessary for the public.
