Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack against the Modi government. He accused that people have witnessed the death of democracy. What India has built brick by brick, starting almost a century ago, was being destroyed in front of his eyes. Anybody who stood against this idea of the onset of dictatorship was viciously attacked, jailed, arrested and beaten up.
The protest is taking place across the country. Reports said that some Congress leaders were detained at Azad Maidan police station, Mumbai. The Congress leaders from Haryana were also detained when they were on the way to Haryana Raj Bhavan.
