Dancer, singer shot in leg by armed youth in Bihar for refusing to perform, Police investigation underway
A report came to light from Bihar where armed youths shot a dancer and singer in Bihar’s Janaidih Village. After the incident, the victims were rushed to the hospital where the victims explained what happened. The dancer alleged that the armed youth were forcing the dancers to dance with them while waving guns, however, the dancer denied to comply after which the incident transpired on late Tuesday night.
In the video, the victim can be seen talking about her experience as she relived what exactly happened which propelled the armed youth to shoot her. The video also shows the victim being treated at the shot wound in her leg.

While talking to the media, the victim told that the armed youths who were present at the spot were unknown to her and added that afterthe program ended the unknown men asked her and the singer if they knew them, to which she denied, after which the armed youth shot at her and wounded her leg and fled the incident.
The victim also stated that the armed youth were holding the dancer at gunpoint while she danced and also asked her to come of the stage and dance with them in the sitting area, after which the dancer protested. The dancer alleged that she believes this is what led to the Armed youth getting annoyed and shooting her.
According to reports, the dance program was organized for the birthday of the son of a Panchayat Samiti Member of Ahapura Panchayata of Salempur Village.
Police action
Bihar police after taking cognizance in the matter have come forward and stated that the Panchayat Samiti member Ranvir Shah, along with his accomplices are on the run and were not there when the police went to investigate the matter.
The authorities have also added that they are chasing after the accused and will nab them soon as the investigation is underway.
