Delhi-NCR weather: Rain, hailstorm lash Noida, Ghaziabad, and other parts
Heavy rain and hailstorm on Saturday afternoon lashed out Delhi-NCR and turned several areas into a winter wonderland. Social media users have flooded platforms with mesmerising pictures and videos of the weather.
The capital Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Noida received heavy rainfall and hailstones. Earlier this week, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a partly cloudy sky in Delhi with minimum and maximum temperatures between 16 and 34 degrees Celsius.
The IMD also forecast hailstorms over Delhi and adjoining areas including Kashmiri Gate, DU, Noida, Burari, and Civil Lines. The IMD reported possible rainfall and thunderstorms in several parts of the country from March 17 to March 20 is likely due to a weather system passing through the region.
