Uttar Pradesh District Probation Officer molests colleague inside office premise, case registered | Watch
A video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi where a District Probation Officer can be seen harassing a woman colleague inside the premises of the office. The DPO’s molestation attempt was recorded on video.
The accused man was identified as Ramnath Ram who is a District Probation Officer.
In the video, the man can be seen attempting to grope the woman, however, the woman can be seen retaliating and preventing the man from doing so. The man can be seen trying to grab onto the woman’s arms, however, she escapes his grip and moves across the room to stop him from groping her.

Police Action
After the video went viral, the Kaushambi Police’s Superintendent spoke to the media and said that a case has been filed by the woman who works in the Ministry of Women and Child Development against the DPO who was molesting and groping the woman in the video. After the woman filed the case against the DPO and the Police authorities launched an investigation in the matter.

The Superintendent of police also affirmed and stated that strict actions will be taken against the DPO.

After the video of the incident went viral, various users came forward to remark on the incident as one user wrote and stated that this type of incident raises a lot of questions on the work culture for women in the country, implying that the work culture for women is not safe.
Another user added and said that the DPO should be flogged publicly as punishment to deliver justice and also termed the video to be shameful. Another user also wrote that the man should be fired from his government job instantly.
Another user wrote and highlighted that the accused’s name is Ram and showed how bad the situation was in Uttar Pradesh.
