Doctor Strange’s upcoming sequel ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, will be the longest movie of Marvel Studios. The movie will have a runtime of an estimated 148 minutes which is around 2 hours and 28 minutes.
If the reports are to be believed then Doctor Strage In The Multiverse of Madness would be equal to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and come in just behind Avengers: Infinity War (149 minutes), Eternals (157 minutes), and Avengers: Endgame (181 minutes).
As the May 6 release date draws close, several plot spoilers and leaks have turned up online. It will be the 28th movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Following the success of films like No Way Home, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman (176 minutes) and Zack Synder’s Justice League (242 minutes), there is no reason to assume Doctor Strange won’t push its runtime to the 3-hour mark.
The film is directed by Sam Raimi, written by Michael Waldron, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
From the moment it received its title in 2019, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been the most mysterious movie of Marvel Studios. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on May 6.
Doctor Strange’s last movie had released in 2016.
The filming of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness had began in November 2020 in London but was put on hold in January 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Production resumed by March 2021 and concluded in mid-April in Somerset and shooting also occurred in Surrey and Los Angeles.
