Srinivasa Gowda is the owner of Karnataka donkey farm which is situated in Parladka village in Ira gram panchayat which is 37 km away from Mangaluru.

Srinivasa is preparing to supply donkey milk in packets to the people from his farm. He said that a packet of 30 ml milk will cost Rs 150 and it will be supplied in malls, shops and supermarkets. He said that donkey’s milk has many medicinal properties. It is also used in cosmetics. That’s why he will sell it for cosmetics also. Till now, he has received the orders for Rs 17 lakh, for the supply of milk.

Who is Srinivasa Gowda?

Srinivasa Gowda is a young man who did his graduation with Bachelor of Arts (BA). After college, he decided to open a donkey farm in Karnataka.

Srinivasa said that when he discussed about opening a donkey farm, many people made fun of him, but now people are understanding its importance. This is the second donkey farm in the country. The first farm is in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Srinivasa has given the reason behind opening it.

Srinivasa said that he was moved by the plight of the donkeys, who were often turned down. The graduate Srinivasa first started an integrated agriculture and animal husbandry, veterinary services, training and fodder development centre on 2.3 acres of land in Ira village in 2020 after leaving a job in a software company.
