E-rickshaw driver after being dragged by SUV for kilometers in Lucknow, video viral | Watch
A video has come to light from Lucknow where a man was seen being dragged by an SUV at a high speed. As per the reports, the incident ensued after the SUV driver and an E-rikshaw driver got into a spat after the SUV reportedly grazed the E-rikshaw.
As per the reports, after the commotion between the SUV driver and the E-rikshaw escalated, the E-rikshaw driver’s hand got stuck through the window of the SUV. The SUV driver proceeded to drive at a high speed while the man was still stuck.
The video shows a high-speed SUV speeding through the turn as the man stuck to the door of the passenger window continues to struggle. It was also reported that the E-Rickhaw man succumbed to his injuries after falling from the car.

The driver of the SUV is reportedly the son of a named property builder in the area known as Gopal Agarwal.

Lucknow Police’s actions in the matter
After the video of the incident went viral, the police also took cognizance of the matter as the Lucknow police tweeted and shared that the authorities have registered an FIR based on the complaint of the bereaved family. The police also informed that the SUV in the video has also been seized by the authorities and the police are investigating the case further.
Another case
Another case of a similar nature came to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut where a truck dragged a car for about 3 kilometers before being intercepted by the police. It was reported that the car was empty as the passengers were able to do a narrow escape and jumped off the car that was being dragged by the truck.
The reports also suggest that the truck driver was in an inebriated state when the incident happened and the video of the incident was also captured in the video.
