Facebook hacked! Users report spamming with celebrity posts, everything you need to know
Facebook users on Wednesday witnessed a bizarre glitch in their accounts. Mark Zuckerberg’s networking platform is apparently aware of the glitch but did not comment on the issue, reports said.
Various users have reported random celebrity spamming. They complained of their news feed getting spammed with celebrity accounts they follow on Facebook. The feeds include posts by celebrities like Shakira, Deepika Padukone, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Sachin Tendulkar, and others. The glitch is affecting Facebook users from different countries including India.
Downdetector, a site that tracks app and website glitches through user reports, showed a spike in complaints about Facebook from about 3.45 pm on Wednesday.
Following the glitch, users shared their plight on Twitter leading to the trend #facebookhacked. The social media platform is now swamped with hilarious memes and you surely cannot stop laughing.
