National Cinema Day is being celebrated today across the country. To mark this day, more than 4,000 screens in multiplexes around the nation, including PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, and Delite have paired up to provide a ticket for just Rs 75.

Yes, you read it right! You can watch Brahmastra, Chup, Avatar, Dhokha, Sita Ramam, Criminal, Moh, and another few films at an unbelievable price of just Rs 75 today. Interestingly, regular movie tickets in any theatre cost between Rs 300 and Rs 500, with premium and recliner seats costing between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500, but today you can watch films at just Rs 75.

  • Now, select the film that you want to watch today.
  • Select a time and seat as per your convenience.

The National Cinema Day, an initiative of the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), will honor the successful reopening of theatres following the Covid -19 pandemic. MIA in a statement said the day is all set to become the highest-attended day of the year for cinemas across the country.

Which states are not participating in National Cinema Day offers?

Due to cinema and ticket prices regulations, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will not be participating in National Cinema Day offers.

Earlier, the National Cinema Day was expected to take place on September 16 across the country, but it got postponed to September 23 due to some unknown reason.
