Ghaziabad mayor blasts officials after seeing the Chhath Puja Kund dry, video goes viral | Watch

As the Chhath Puja is around the corner, many followers will participate in the festivities. However, a video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad where the mayor of Ghaziabad can be seen berating the officials for not putting the water into the designated Chhath Puja Kund despite the Chhath Puja starting soon. The video shows the mayor of Ghaziabad, Asha Sharma, blasting the official on call and demanding the officials pump water into the Puja Kund.

In the video, Asha Sharma, Mayor of Ghaziabad can be seen speaking to the official on call as she goes on to say that if there is no water pumped into the Chhath Puja Kund, she will make the officials turn into a pump and make them pump out the water if she has to. She further highlighted that the Chhath Puja has almost begun and yet the officials have failed to take any steps.

After the video went viral, many users came forward adding their takes on the incident as one user added his remark highlighting that the relation position of power and the civil use of language has been diminished. The user further added that either the government officials have become insolent or the level of politics has degraded, implying the manner in which the Ghaziabad Mayor talked.

Another user added their take on the incident as they wrote that this was a unique way of dealing with the officials, implying an increase in efficiency after the officials received scolding.

Another incident came to light from Ghaziabad of road rage where a motorcycle rider first crashed his bike into a man and then got up and assaulted the man who crashed his bike into. After the incident went viral many users came forward remarking on the video.
