With no top-class cricket for the past three years, the cricket lovers are eager to get glimpse of the battle between top teams before the upcoming T20I World Cup. However, their excitement turned into disappointment with troubles in purchasing ticket.

A huge numbers of cricket lovers reached at Hyderabad’s Gymkhana cricket stadium on Thursday to purchase tickets for the last T20I of the India’s home series against World Champion Australia.

Several videos showing fans waiting in long queues since 03:00 AM in the morning to buy tickets for the upcoming match is doing rounds on social media.

The excited fans coming in excessive numbers at the Gymkhana grounds to purchase tickets caused law and order issues. After the situation turned out of control, the police lathi-charged to disperse the massive crowd.

As many as 4 people were injured due to the stampede and were rushed to a local hospital, the NDTV reported.  

Reports also claimed that a few people, including some police personnel, went unconscious after suffering injuries due to the stampede.

Many fans, who have been in line to get tickets since the last two days, are now lashing out at the association for not providing information. However, the miss communication from ground officials made them furious.

Team India is looking to bounce back against Australia in 2nd T20I in Nagpur’s VCA stadium after 5-wicket loss in the first T20I in Mohali.

The team management was on the receiving end of the critics for using Bhuvneshwar Kumar again in 19th over, third time since the Asia Cup 2022. The pacer conceded 16 runs in the 19th over in the first T20I in Mohali.
