Saharanpur: House of Ex-BSP MLC Haji Iqbal demolished, everything you need to know
In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a bulldozer roared at the house of former BSP MLC Haji Iqbal. Haji Iqbal has been accused of illegal mining, also his younger brother and former MLC Mehmood are involved in this matter.
The administrative staff, who arrived under the leadership of SDM Sadar, said that action against illegal construction was going on for two days. The map of the houses of the former MLC was not approved by the Saharanpur Development Authority, that is why demolition action has been taken here.
Continuous action is being taken against Haji Iqbal, former MLC and accused of illegal mining. Even before this, the Saharanpur administration has confiscated properties worth crores of Haji Iqbal and his associates.

Apart from this, three sons of Haji Iqbal, accused in the gangster case, have been arrested by the police and sent to jail.
Kothi ( Bungalow) has been built by former MLC Haji Iqbal in the New Bhagat Singh Colony of the Janakpuri police station area. His brother, former MLC Mahmood Ali has also built a similar Kothi.
On Monday, July 4, 2022, the development authority team reached the spot along with the police force and broke the part of Haji Iqbal’s Kothi, which was illegal, while the entire Kothi of his brother Mehmood Ali was said to be illegal. Some part of this Kothi was demolished on Monday. Bulldozers were run on the entire construction on Tuesday.
