Hera Pheri 3: Raju, Shyaam, Babu Bhaiya set to return, photo of cast goes viral
India’s beloved comedy franchise is all set to make a return as actors Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty shoot for Hera Pheri 3 promo in Mumbai
The beloved and meme-worthy characters of Raju, Shyaam, and Babu bhaiya played by Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal respectively since 2000 are back in action. After years of waiting, fans are about to get a lovely treat as the actors have reunited to shoot the movie promo at Mumbai’s Empire Studio. The makers are yet to decide the female cast.
A picture of the cast and team together has since gone viral on Twitter, taken at the promo shoot in Mumbai.

Ever since the release of Hera Pheri, directed by Priyadarshan, 23 years ago, the movie has been loved by millions and is always a favourite to re-watch, keeping you excited with the phenomenal comic timing. The sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, directed by the late Neeraj Vora, was released in 2006 with the same cast. Hera Pheri 3 will be going on floors in October 2023. The team is only shooting for a promo today to announce the cast.
Over the last year as the news of Hera Pheri 3 started making rounds, fans could not wait for the trio but were heartbroken when Akshay Kumar pulled out of the film due to script issues. Reports informed that Kartik Aaryan would be joining as the lead with a new character. There was an outrage on social media and fans demanded the original Raju back. According to the sources, due to this huge public demand, the producer Firoz Nadiadwala reinitiated discussions with Khiladi to convince him to join the team back.
As per earlier reports, Aneez Bazmee was to be the director of the movie but has been replaced by Farhad Samji, director of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
