Home Shanti trailer: Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa gear up to build their dream home | Watch

The trailer of the upcoming family drama-comedy series ‘Home Shanti’ is released today. Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa starrer gives a middle-class vibe with several emotional roller coasters.  Chakori Dwivedi and Poojan Chhabra will be making their debut with this upcoming series as the new generation of Joshis. This Hotstar drama revolves around the Joshi family and their long-held dream of building their own house.

But is achieving g your dream that easy at it seems. Joshi family will also have to face several challenges to become the owners for first time. As the family comes together to plan for their new house, problems will lie ahead. The trailer shows few of them like the priest getting hurt during the bhumi-pujan, money problems and even family’s disagreements over the house chart, all of their struggle to build a house looks real.

Talking about the series, lead actor Manoj Pahwa says that he feels extremely proud to star in a special project like Home Shanti. He instantly fell in love with the show’s storyline as it is a heartfelt endearing drama. He also promised the viewers that they can expect a fun and easy watch that will definitely touch their hearts.

After playing the roles of parents for Kriti Sanon in the Bollywood film ‘Mimi,’ had made Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa comfortable and relatable to each other. Talking about the same, the Ram-Leela actor said that she had a gala time working on this series. She also said that getting to rekindle her chemistry with Manoj Pahwa had her super excited. At times, the set felt like an extension of a family to her.

The series is directed by Aakanksha Dua and backed by Posham Pa Pictures and written by Akshay Asthana, Nidhi Bisht, Aakanksha Dua, Mayank Pandey, Saurabh Khanna and Nikhil Sachan. Home Shanti will release on May 6, only on Disney+ Hotstar.
