Scindia loyalist Imarti Devi clashes with Congress MLA over allegation of horse-trading of councilors | WATCH
Imarti Devi, a former Madhya Pradesh minister and a staunch supporter of Jyotiraditya Scindia, has once again been in media headlines for her heated arguments with Congress MLA Suresh Raje over horse-trading of councilors.
A video of her heated arguments with Dabra Congress MLA is doing rounds on social media.
In the video, a fierce debate between the two leaders can be seen accusing each other over allegations of councillor’s horse-trading. She also revealed the name of Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra in horse-trading of concilors.
The video is from Sahrai village under Dabra tehsil of Gwalior district, where a statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the constitution, had been vandalized by some anti-social elements.
The villagers were gathered to protest against the vandalization of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s statue in Sahrai village of MP’s Dabri district. The Scindia loyalist Imarti Devi and Dabra MLA Suresh Raje were also reached there to talk to the villagers about last night incident.
After the incident, the villagers demanded that CCTVs should be installed and a guard should also be appointed for the safety of Baba Saheb’s statue because even before the statue has been vandalized by some unknown assailants. The one who has damaged the idol should be caught at the earliest, the villagers also said.
To this, the administration assured the villagers to install a new statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar while Imarti Devi promised to construct a room for the guards.
