Team India is all set to play the third One Day Internationals tomorrow at Hagley Oval against New Zealand. Team India is now in a do or die situation as they will not only have to win the decider match but will also have to pray that even a droplet of rain does not fall at Christchurch tomorrow in order to equalize 1-1 in the three-match ODI series.

The weather forecast claims that there are 40 percent chances of rain at Christchurch tomorrow and if it happens then there will be nothing more disappointing for the young cricketers of the Indian team. The rain has already played a spoilsport for the youngsters as they got a golden opportunity to prove their mettle in the absence of the senior players.

But the first and third match of the India vs New Zealand T20 series was disturbed by the rain. Later India won the series as they had defeated the host in the second T20 match. And now something same seems to happen in the ODI series.

The first match was won by Black Caps and the second match was cancelled after heavy rain at Napier. And now both the teams are all to seal the third match on a winning note but they’ll only be successful in doing so if rain does not interrupts the match.

On the other hand, out of these five matches Sanju Samson only got to play one match and seems like in order to give Rishabh Pant the priority, Samson may be benched for the 3rd IND vs NZ ODI.
