Clash btween Indian-Chinese soldierse at Arunachal Pradesh border, minor injuries on both sides

Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in a face-off along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Tawang sector in Arunachal Pradesh on December 9. However, the army confirmed the news on Monday evening, reports said.

Reports further said the clash between the soldiers led to minor injuries from both sides. As many as 6 Indian soldiers were injured and taken to Guwahati for treatment.

In an official statement, the Indian Army informed that PLA troops contacted the LAC in Tawang sector on December 9 that was contested by Indian troops in a firm and resolute manner and this clash led to minor injuries to few personnel from both sides.

The statement further said both sides immediately disengaged from the area and a flag meeting was conducted immediately by the Indian commander in the area with his counterpart to discuss the issue with structured mechanism to restore peace and tranquility.
