IPL 2022: Virat Kohli disappoints yet again fails to score big, out for 7 in 8 balls
Virat Kohli, has yet again disappointed his fans by being dismissed after scoring in single digit. The former skipper who was seeming pumped up after Delhi Capitals’ defeat by Mumbai Indians, yet again fails to score big.
Virat Kohli was again dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 7 runs in 8 balls in qualifier 2. Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently taking down each other to qualify for the IPL 2022 finals in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium.
RCB skipper Faf DuPlessis has also short fell of luck and got dismissed after scoring 25 runs. Senior and experienced players like Kohli and FAF always open for RCB and are expected to score big for the team but unfortunately, both the players have not yet been able to play according to the expectation.
Virat Kohli, who is the highest run scorer of Indian Premiere League did not have a good tournament this season. Virat has been dismissed at three first ball golden ducks in IPL 2022 and has managed to score just two fifties, which is lowest in IPL.

In last 16 matches in IPL 2022, former skipper Virat Kohli has managed to scored just 341 runs at an average of 22.73 and a strike rate of 115.99. If today Royal Challengers Bangalore makes it to the final, Virat’s fans would want to see him sign off the campaign with a smashing inning.
However, the former skipper has been playing non-stop cricket for the last few years and has been finally rested for the upcoming T20 series against South Africa. Some other senior players like Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah will also not be a part of the South Indian tour of Indian. And new comers like SRH’s star pacer Umran Malika and PBKS’ Harshdeep Singh will mark their international debut with South Africa T20 series.
