SS Rajamouli’s film RRR is flying high these days. The film, which was released in March last year, was not only well received by the audience but the film has been earning accolades from all corners of the worlds. It’s song Naatu Naatu from recently won the Best Original Song title at the Golden Globe Awards 2023.
Rajamouli directorial has written another story of success. Ram Charan and Junior NTR’s film has also made its place in the list of Critics’ Choice Awards. And this morning the film also won the Critics Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film. And while the makers would have been counting the feathers on their caps, another big surprise was knocking at their doors.
Avatar 2, the most earning movie series in the world and India’s director James Cameron has praised RRR and also claimed that he has watched the movie twice. After the Critics’ Choice Award function, Rajamouli got a chance to meet James Cameron.
Where Cameron not only praised RRR but also revealed that he has recommend the movie to his wife as well. And seems like SS Rajamouli was also as excited as us, as the RRR director took to his official Twitter handle to shares the instance. While sharing his happiness, the Bahubali famed director wrote that the great James Cameron watched RRR. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her.
‘Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I am on top of the world. Thank you both,’ wrote Rajamouli on Twitter. He also shared few pictures on the social media platform, where he can be seen standing with folded hand in front of Avatar director and his wife Suzy can also be seen smiling at RRR director.
Not only Rajamouli, the composer of the song Naatu-Naatu MM Keeravani was also very happy with James Cameron’s praise. Sharing the picture, he wrote, ‘The great James Cameron watched RRR twice and gave his feedback on my song. My heart jumps with joy’.
Where was Alia Bhatt going to remain silent after so much happiness? She is not able to join the celebration with the team, but is constantly active on social media. She is constantly reacting to the praise this film is receiving. Alia Bhatt took a screenshot of James Cameron’s compliment and shared it on her Instagram story. With this she wrote, ‘Uffff, what a wonderful morning’.
