Jasmin Bhasin says she received rape and death threats after coming out of Bigg Boss house
Actor Jasmin Bhasin became a household name after she participated in Bigg Boss 14. The reality show not only opened career doors for the Dil Se Dil Tak actor but also made her the target of bullying and trolling on social media.
For fans, Bigg Boss is more than a reality show. People become so invested in the participants that they begin to judge them according to their performance in the show. In a recent interview with News18, Bhasin revealed that she received innumerable threats after the show.
She said people started hurling abuse at her when she left the Bigg Boss house. She further said that she received death and rape threats from sections of people on Twitter because they didn’t like her in the show.

Recalling the incident, she said that it took a toll on her mental and emotional health. Furthermore, she said she learned to deal with it only after getting medical help.
By choosing to concentrate on the positive aspects of her line of work, the Tashan-e-Ishq actor said that she has learned to ignore hateful remarks made by trolls and fake accounts. She said that today she doesn’t even come to know if somebody is trolling her. She further said she is in a place where she receives a lot of love and many perks and trolling is a very small part of it and I decide to ignore it, she added.
She said she will reciprocate if people adore her. Stating further she said, they can choose to dislike me if they want to. They are free to express themselves any way they want, but I won’t listen to them because I don’t need to. I’m anyway very busy in life, she concluded.
On the professional front, Jasmin Bhasin will be next seen opposite Gippy Grewal in the Punjabi film Honeymoon, which is slated to hit cinemas this Diwali on October 25.
