JEE Main 2023: Last day to register for January session, check full details here
Today, January 12, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Main 2023 registration portal for the January session.
Applicants who have not yet registered for the IIT JEE Main 2023 can do so at jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official JEE website. JEE Main 2023 applications opened on December 15, 2022.
The JEE Main 2023 will be held in two rounds this year: January and April, with the first session taking place from January 24 to January 31, 2023. The cities for the exams will be decided in the second week of January 2023.
According to Ministry of School sources, the NTA has now reduced the qualifying criterion for JEE candidates, with the top 20%ile students of each education board being entitled to seek admission in IITs and NITs and appear for JEE Advanced even if they did not achieve 75% in class 12.

To register for the JEE Main 2023 session 1
• Go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• To register, enter your email address and mobile phone number.
•When you finish filling out the online application, a ‘application number’ will be produced for you.
• Use the system-generated registration or application number to complete the JEE Main 2023 application form.
• Include scanned documents with your photo and signature.
• Pay your JEE Main 2023 application fee and submit your application online.
The second session of JEE Main 2023 will take place from April 6 to April 12. After passing the JEE Main, students will be required to take the JEE Advanced, for which registration will begin on April 30, 2023, and will close on May 4, 2023, on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in.
According to an official announcement, the price payment process will end on May 5, 2023, and admit cards will be available online on May 29.
JEE Advanced 2023 will be held on June 4 in two papers — Paper 1 and Paper 2 — lasting three hours each.
