JioCinema Premium subscription price

The annual cost of the JioCinema Premium subscription is Rs 999. Any device can be used to watch with high audio and video quality. And the best part is that the app may run simultaneously on four different devices. The subscription can be used on multiple mobile phones regardless of the geographical location. There is currently only one annual subscription package offered to users and the OTT giant might announce some cheaper monthly subscription options.

JioCinema and Warner Bros collaboration

Earlier this year, JioCinema teamed up with Warner Bros. The collaboration intended to bring popular Hollywood content to its streaming platform. The timing of collaboration is significant as its rivals like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+Hotstar are having a neck-and-neck fight to expand their audience.

JioCinema intends to expand its user base and solidify its place as one of India’s top streaming services with the help of this new alliance. The streaming service can anticipate a surge in subscribers as much as what happened to Disney+Hotstar when it teamed up with HBO.

The collaboration was due to be renewed on March 31, 2023. Reports said HBO was to be paid $10 million annually for five years. However, Disney+Hotstar decided not to renew the deal following which HBO content was made unavailable on the platform.
