South African pacer Kagiso Rabada, who is playing the role of key pacer for his franchise Punjab Kings in this season of IPL, has emerged as the star bowler of IPL 2022.
Before the Punjab Kings’ next encounter against RCB, the PBKS star pacer indulged in a fun chat session with some of them trying to deliver dialogues from Hindi movies.
In a video released by the Punjab Kings, several overseas players can be seen trying to imitate legendary Bollywood dialogues but South African pacer Rabada’s reply took the cake.
Rabada said no when the anchor was asked do you know Salman Khan? He doesn’t know about Salman Khan he only knows Rashid Khan, Rabada replied to the anchor. However, the reply left the anchor in splits. The PBKS speedster also tries to enact Salman Khan’s dialogue ek baar jo maine commitement kar di fir mai apne baap ki bhi nahi sunta from the Bollywood movie Wanted.
The PBKS’ West Indian all-rounder Odean Smith tried to imitate Sunny Deol’s famous dialogue ‘Taareekh pe taareekh, taareekh pe taareekh, taareekh pe taareekh,’ from the movie Damini.
Rabada is in the race for purple cap holder with 18 wickets in 10 matches. He has a strike rate of just 12.3 with an economy of 8.72.
Punjab is comparatively well in the IPL 2022. With 5 wins and 6 losses in 11 games, the Kings are lying the seventh place and still have a chance of qualifying for the playoffs. The PBKS will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in a crucial encounter on Friday and a win make take them closer to the top 4.
Punjab will have to win all their remaining three matches to qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs. The Punjab Kings will next play against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Punjab Kings will next face in-form RCB on May 13 at the Brabourne – CCI Stadium in Mumbai.
