Kamal R Khan calls Bollywood actors shameless over maternity photoshoots, compares with Tollywood
Another day and another tweet by KRK. Kamal R Khan, the self proclaimed movie critic has come up with something different to call out Bollywood and it’s actors.
But this time it’s not their films but their personal choices. The 47 year old objectified Bollywood leading ladies for having exposed maternity photoshoots. He has shared a collage on his Twitter handle with several Bollywood actors like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma, Lisa Hayden and mommy to be Bipasha Basu.
And by comparing Bollywood actor’s personal choices with Tollywood actors KRK shared a collage on Twitter where on one side, there are pictures of Hindi film actors from their maternity shoots and on the other side are the Tollywood actors dressed in traditional cloths and their pictures belongs to the godh bharayi function (baby shower), which happens in the seventh month of pregnancy.
Kamal R Khan called Bollywood actors shameless and wrote, ‘This is the difference between Shameless People and cultured family people.’
Have a look at KRK’s tweet here:
The poster also mentions Bollywood as ‘gatterwood’. However, this is not for the first time that KRK has been calling out Bollywood actor. The Deshdrohi actor has earned a reputation of criticizing Bollywood, the same industry where KRK has worked, be it just for two films.
However, Kamal R Khan’s tweet opened gates for mixed reviews. While some wrote that it’s their personal choices, others agreed to KRK. A user wrote Bollywood is uncultured, while another user wrote that Bollywood needs to learn something from Tollywood.
A Twitter user made a valid point and wrote that both the entertainment industries have maternity photoshoots and baby showers. However, the collage is intentionally made to bring down Bollywood as they used exposed photos of Hindi Film actors and chose tradional photos of South actors.
His Twitter handle was even suspended by Twitter but was brought back after heavy demands. With more than five million followers on Twitter, KRK is still seen as an entertainer on the social media platform.
