Another incident of dog attack has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Sarsaiya Ghat in Kanpur on Thursday.

Amid the recent spate of attacks by dogs, pets and strays, a video of pitbull attacking a cow in Kanpur’s Sarsaiya Ghat is doing rounds on social media.

In the video, the ferocious dog can be seen clinging to the cow’s jaw and muzzle. The dog tightens the grip on the cow’s face, the video shows.

The cow has been rescued after the efforts of locals and the owner, who hit the dog with a cane stick.

The incident occurred at Sarsaiah Ghat of Kotwali area in Kanpur.

A total of four Pitbull dogs are left with residents of Sarsaiya Ghat. They have expressed their concerns for their children, cattle and pet animals, India Today reported.

These days, the incidents of Pitbull attacks are on the rise in Uttar Pradesh. The rising number of pitbull attacks have been leaving major concerns of public safety.

Earlier, a Pitbull dog attacked a 10-year-old boy in UP’ Ghaziabad in which the boy was left with 150 stitches on his face.

In an another incident, a youth taking a walk in the Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar area was attacked by a pitbull.

An elderly person has already dead in Lucknow after a pitbull attacked him. After the incident, several residential and local civic bodies have tabled compliance. Now, the owners are required to receive licenses to pet them.
