Kerala: Video of Class 6 boy's world class back heel goal claims the heart of users
A class 6 student from Kerala took inspiration from the Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah as the boy scored a wonder back heel goal in an Under 12-tournament in Chembrasseri, Pandikkad. The boy’s genius trickery has left the fans of football amazed, as many look hopeful for the country’s future in football.
According to reports, the student of Al Anwar UP school in Areekode Kuni, who scored the back-heel screamer goal, is identified as Anshid. The video of the goal was recorded by Anshid’s coach who shared it on social media with a caption that wrote that the keeper didn’t see that coming.
In the video, Anshid can be seen setting himself up for the cross as the game transitioned in a counter attack. As anticipated by the wonder kid, the winger found Anshid with a cross after which he took it upon himself to score the worldie.
The boy approached the aerial ball and as it was pinged towards him and then went on to use the back of his heel to find the net. The goal on the counter attack is a one hard goal to master and from the looks of it, Anshid knew what he was doing. After scoring the goal, his teammates can be seen rushing to him and celebrating the amazing goal.

After the video of the goal went viral, Anshid was approached by the media and talked about his aspirations of being a footballer at a professional level. The rising star told the media that he hopes to see himself at the professional level playing the game.
The video of the wonder-goal was also shared by Ministers such as V Sivankutty and Ahmed Devarkov on their social media. The video subsequently after being surfaced on social media was then picked up and shared by Indian Super League’s Instagram handle.

After the video went viral, many users came forward to add their take on the goal as one user wrote and said that there is more to come out of the country, implying that such players aren’t only limited to Anshid but there are various more with a lot of potential.
One user also wrote and highlighted that the football apparatus needs to get better infrastructure in place in order for the grassroots players to grow. Another user wrote and said that the boy is from Kerala which is the reason why he is so good, implying at how good the level of football is in the southern part of the country.
