Video of man setting lottery shop on fire in Kerala leaves users in splits | Watch
A shocking story has come to light from Kerala’s Tripunithura where a man, identified as Rajesh TS, set fir to a lottery shop. As per the reports, the action was premeditated as the man had issued a threat to the lottery shop on Facebook.
In the video, Rajesh can be seen strutting toward the lottery shop with a bottle full of inflammable liquid. After reaching near the lottery shop, the man can be seen emptying the bottle and throwing it on the shop.
Shortly after the throwing the inflammable liquid, Rajesh goes on to torch the shop while the workers were still in it. The video also shows many people inside the shop dashing outside. The man committing the act can be seen retiring unfazed by the consiq uences of his actions.

As per the reports, the workers of the lottery shop were successful in pacifying the fire and dousing it. A loss of 1.5 lakh was also reported due to the fire and the police also took cognizance and arrested the man in the case.
As per the reports the accused man lighting up the lottery shop also sells lottery tickets nearby from the shop it happened.
As per the reports, the reason behind Rajesh’s attack is yet to be ascertained, however, the accused had written on his Facebook that the state needs genuine communism that existed under the EMS and had also written that the state needs brothers who are ready to serve the people.
Shortly after the Facebook post, the man went on to commit the crime.

After the video of the incident went viral, many users came forward to add their take on the incident as one user wrote and said that the way the man went on to torch the lottery shop is identical to the fil Pushpa.
One user also wrote that this is what happens when one gets a lottery ticket but fails to win any prize. One user attributed his actions to be because of films like KFG that promotes gangster like protagonists.
