Kia to unveil 7-seater SUV Sorento at Auto Expo 2023, here's all you need to know
The leading car manufacturer Hyundai’s sister company Kia slowly gaining the trust of customers in the Indian market. The has created a buzz after launching feature-loaded Sonet, Seltos, and Carens at affordable prices. Now the company is all set to drop another bomb for customers as it is all set to unveil its other 7-seater SUV named Sorento at Auto Expo 2023, which is scheduled for 12-15 January at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.
However, the firm has not revealed any details regarding the launch as of now. But, reports say the vehicle is in the testing phase and the end of this or the start of next will hit the market.

Despite having a familiar Kia family design, the fourth-generation Sorento comes with a far more aggressive look than the brand’s current lineup of SUVs in India. The three-pod LED headlights with tiger eyeline LED DRLs are integrated with Kia’s trademark tiger nose grille up front might come in big-size SUV.

There is also a high expectation that the Sorento might launch with a slight bigger size as compared to its current 7 seater Carens. It will also feature a highly contoured tailgate and vertical LED taillamps.
However, the Sorento’s interior is strikingly similar to the company’s hot-selling product Sonet. It may feature a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen, along with vertical AC vents and a row of HVAC controls that are located below. The infotainment screen is coupled with the instrument binnacle, which holds a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, much like the Sonet. Numerous buttons, a rotary dial, a drive selector lever, and storage compartments are all included on the centre console.
The Sorento might come with a gasoline and diesel engine configurations worldwide. A 1.49kWh lithium-ion battery powers a 44.2kW electric motor, equipped with 1.6-liter turbo-petrol hybrid engine might get featured in the upcoming SUV..
