Lemon price crosses Rs 400 per kg mark, check state wise list here

Amidst the surge in price in fuel rates, even vegetables and fruits are leaving no stones unturned to burn a hole in the pocket of a common man. Recently, the prices of lemons have crossed the mark of Rs 400 per kg.

According to a report by news agency IANS, lemons are now being sold at a price of Rs 400 per kg in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. Earlier, on Tuesday, the price of lemon in Jaipur was Rs 340 and now it has been increased by Rs 60 per kg.

In Noida, lemon is available at a price of Rs 428 per kg, according to the grocery delivery app Blinkit.

In Delhi, lemons are available at a price of Rs 392 per kg, according to the grocery delivery app Blinkit.

In Haryana, lemons are now available at Rs 420 per kg, according to the grocery delivery app Blinkit.

In Mumbai, the lemon prices are comparatively cheap and are available at Rs 320 per kg, according to the grocery delivery app Blinkit.

In Kolkata, the lemon is available at a price of Rs 284 per kg, according to the grocery delivery app Blinkit.

Meanwhile, this month, the price of lemon also surged in Gujarat’s Rajkot due to a shortage in supplies. Lemons were being sold at around Rs 200 per kg, which was earlier Rs 5-60 per kg. This has come at a time when the prices of most commodities are seeing a steep rise.

In other news, a case has been registered against BJP leader Kirit Somaiya and his son Neil for the alleged misappropriation of around Rs 57 crore funds that were collected on the alleged ground to save the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
