Argentinian Star Footballer, Lionel Messi is far from being done with processing the World Cup win as he posts more pictures of him comfortably sleeping with the World Cup trophy on his Social Media. The Argentinian striker is considered amongst the key players in catapulting the team to win the FIFA 2022 Campaign.

The star striker on his Instagram on Tuesday posted a picture of him casually sleeping next to the World Cup trophy after winning the World Cup in Qatar. The Argentinian team beat the defending champions, France, to clench the victory in, what many call, a historical final.

Messi’s performance throughout the FIFA 2022 campaign led him to win the player of the tournament as he scored the 2 goals in the final and inspired the team’s win against France. In the Instagram Post, Messi can be seen sleeping next to the World Cup trophy.

France made a comeback into the game which was solely inspired by 23-year old striker Kylian Mbape as he successfully scored 2 goals to tie the game. The allotted extra time saw more dramatic action as Messi nailed another goal, whereas Kylian Mbappe successfully registered his hattrick. The tied game moved to penalties in which the Argentina’s goalkeeper Emi Martinez won the match for his nation.
