Lucknow women confront car-borne men for allegedly stalking at midnight, video viral | WATCH
A blood-boiling report has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow where a few car-borne men were allegedly stalking and molesting the girls who were in another car. The incident reportedly transpired around midnight near the Gomti Nagar Locality on Wednesday.
The women, after being annoyed by the men’s actions, decided to confront the men by stopping the car. One of the women also made a video of the whole confrontation between the two parties.
In the video, the women can be heard asking the car-borne men why are they stalking them, after which, the men can also be heard rebutting that they aren’t stalking them. One of the men can also be seen getting out of the car in what looks to be a threatening manner.

One of the women can be heard further pursuing and probing why the men kept stopping the car in front of their car, to which one of the men can be heard replying they aren’t doing any such thing.
Police action
After the video went viral, the police came forward and stated that the police were informed of the matter on Wednesday, in which the police were informed that some few car borne-men have allegedly harassed 2 women. After learning about the information, an FIR was lodged at the Gomti Nagar Police station.
The police also added that a team was formed who were investigating the matter and have nabbed 1 accused who is identified as Abhinav Verma. The police also confiscated the vehicle in which the men were sitting while the incident ensued.
The police further added that the rest of the 2 accused are still at large and the police are continuously searching for them.

Another incident
Another incident of a similar nature came to light from Karnataka where a school’s headmaster was accused of harassing a student after which she, along with her hostel mates, confronted the headmaster and turned to violence as she beat them up with sticks. The incident took place in Karnataka’s Siriranganpatna.
According to the reports, the police have arrested the headmaster and charged him under the POCSO act.
