Maharashtra SSC paper leak: State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad says schools will lose registration if involved in paper leaks
As the news of the exam leak is brewing, the allegations of the paper leak also emerged in Maharashtra when students parents and teachers started reporting cases of mass cheating in Maharashtra HSC Exams 2022, which began on March 4. Soon after that State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that there was no paper leak but she also gave warning to the schools if she found any irregularities in conducting the examination.
Gaikwad said that the state government will suspend the registration of schools with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) if they are found to be involved in leaking question papers.
She shared a tweet in which she wrote that on March 15, during the Class 10 Marathi subject examination, Laxmibai Secondary and Higher Secondary School, Nilajgaon, it was revealed as per preliminary inquiries into the irregularities that the headmaster, co-teachers, non-teaching staff were providing copies to the students.

Gaikwad further said that she would like to say here that if such malpractice is found in other schools, they will also be severely punished.
Meanwhile, the state education board also released a series of guidelines to be followed in case of irregularities. It was mentioned that some new measures have been devised to prevent irregularities in the State Board’s E-10 and E-12 examinations. This information was given in the Legislative Council.
