In the video, it can be seen that a man gently pours water from a bottle on his palms and offers it to a thirsty snake. The thirsty snake is seen quietly gulping the water. Many people were scared by the video, but the majority of them praised the man for his bold and generous gestures.

The video was shared on Twitter by Susanta Nanda who is an Indian Forest Service officer. In the caption, he wrote that summer is approaching and your little drops can save someone’s life. Leave some water in your garden in a container for that can mean a choice between life & death for many animals, he continued.

Ever since the video is uploaded, it has garnered over 15,400 views and over 1,600 likes. One of the users wrote that this is a very noble gesture but one must not forget old sayings, while the other user wrote that the act is done under the supervision of experts and do not try this at home. Another commented that these small steps are what we ought to take in our surroundings this summer.

This is not the first time Nanda has shown an act of kindness. In 2018, a video went viral in which Nanda was giving water to a cobra. Love & water. Two best ingredients of life, wrote IFS Susanta Nanda while sharing the video on Twitter.
