England cricket legend Kevin Pietersen criticizes Manchester United’s manager, calls Erik Ten Hag a clown
On October 21, Manchester United uploaded a picture of England’s former cricketer, Kevin Pietersen who was in attendance during the match at Old Trafford when Manchester United clashed with premier league giants Tottenham Hotspurs. Following this, the former England cricketer blasted the page and the team and asked them to take down the photo.
The official page of Manchester United uploaded the picture accompanied by the caption which wrote that it’s T20 World Cup Season and added that the club has a long history of witnessing cricketing legends in the stands of Old Trafford and added that the club has also opened arms to such iconic legends over the years.

Following the post, The England Cricket legend, Kevin Pietersen took it upon himself to check Manchester United’s page as well as the club manager, Erik Ten Hag. The former England cricketer went on to scrutinize the team for hypocritically treating the legend of their team, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the harshest of ways. The cricket legend further added that Erik Ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, needs to wake up.
Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United played Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspurs which ended in a 2-0 win for the Red Devils over Tottenham. However, despite securing the win, star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo failed to find any playing time. After not getting any playing time against the spurs, Ronaldo translated his disappointment as he staged a walk out of the stands and into the changing room during the match.
The six-time Ballon D’or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been struggling to find his form in the new season for Manchester United. Ronaldo, however, recently added another accolade under his belt as he only recently reached the tally of 700 club and national career goals in the past fixture.
The walkout by Ronaldo during the match against Tottenham Hotspurs has escalated into a bigger controversy as the action by the Portuguese Captain inspired Erik Ten Hag to reprimand the star. as he has decided to drop Ronaldo for their upcoming clash against Chelsea which will be played on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
